Inlays
Dental inlays are similar to traditional filling. An inlay will be placed inside the grooves or cusp tips (top edges) of your tooth.
Onlays
A dental onlay reaches beyond just the top edges of a tooth, wrapping up over the cusps and covering the tooth’s surface. Onlays are used when damage requires more extensive restoration.
